makes me more angry why tw lets some of our young guns play in the gaelic footy crap

They get to train play and talk to some of the better players in the comp. How good would it be to sit down with Voss and talk about how he goes about things or to watch some of the older guys prepare. Can't hurt.

yeah right, fevola us really a good role model  ::)

what if raines does a knee this week? or even a hammy and interupts the start of his pre-season? will you be happy then?

Yeah, what about getting injured surfing? Or training on the tan and getting hit by a bike rider? Or god forbid, doing some tackling training? Maybe we should just buy out Johnson & Johnson and buy all the cotton wool we can to rap our players up in. Let's get realisitc about this.

Why pick out Fevola as represenative of all the players who went on the Ireland trip? That argument wasnt even worth mentioning. The fact is, the trip would be a fantastic experience for a youngster amongst some elite players, and an honour to represent your country in a sport that lacks international appeal.

More than happy for our blokes to represent Aust or their state when that opportunity comes around again. The game must be bigger than one club. I also think it is of significant benefit to our young blokes and those benefits far outweigh the risks. And yes, if Raines does a knee this weekend I'll still feel the same way.

Well said! Also the fact that seeing Rainsey having to deal with those 2 or 3 players giving him grief will probably be a precusor to the extra attention he will recieve next season. Opposition clubs will no doubt tighten up on him just like what happened with Lids this year. Lets face it that was a real pressure cooker atmosphere over there. No place for the weak willed.

Hopefully the Voss influence will be a factor, MV is quite some impressive individual. Hope Rainesy kept close to him & learned heaps.

maybe he was spotted in the sainsational match and was asked to train...

gotta be an upgrade on kingsley ;D

Sorry guys was heading in this morning an had to turn back, will be onboard very soon

Anyone see the Scumton boys running around at training on the tv the other night ? Hah hah hah....Eddie Betts looked like he'd eaten a few whales over the break and was at the end of the running. Ty Zantuck looked like he was gonna pass out running his laps.

Hah hah hah....they are in complete disarray Scumton. They're in a world of trouble.

Spot on Red. Gee, they looked like a tired and uninspired lot.

Eddie I Betts I can eat another bucket looked a disgrace. He made the Krak look like Trevor Hendy. A guy I work with watched a early Carlton session and came away convinced he just watched Sunbury fourths.

Carlton's slogan for 2007 "Our skipper can tango!".
