Aussies play Poms tommorrow night in Brisbane in what is a must win for Poms if they are to make the final.Going on last week's form the Aussie's should win comfortably setting up a Aust v Kiwi's final.I'II go for the Aussie's to win by 10.

Ausssies beat Great Britain 33-10 in what was an entertaining game.Aussies looked much better with Thurstons back with the no 7 jumper & he took out man of the match.Final will be tougher for Aussies as Kiwis have been in good form.Final will be live on 9 next Sat night at 7.30pm which is great news for Melb.

Agree Craig, this week will be good but 2007 season will be a beauty.

Aussies play Kiwis in tri nations final which should be a beauty. For Melb viewers 9 are doing the game live at 8pm.Reckon the Aussies will gain revenge for last year's loss & win by 8.

Not far off mb. ;)

What a great game tonight.

Brilliant. :clap

Yeah, another rip-snorter!!!! 8) :clap

I was at game-2 at the Dome there a month or so ago, and I thought the last 15-minutes of that were sensational....and tonights was just as good, if not better, considering the title was on the line.

Thought the 'Roos looked a bit beat at half-time of the extra-time, when the Kiwis got into their huddle, and we were walking around and looking a bit ragged.

But great run by Thurstons, and then Lockyer under the black dot....YEAH! :cupgold

Yes, a fantastic game. Lockyer's support play at the end showed just how classy a player he is.

It would be a heartbreaking way to lose though.

Great game last Sat night with Aussies lucky to get away with a win.Kiwis put up a greta show but Aussie scame good in extra time.Lockyer was ecxceptional all series,Thurston stood up & proved Horby should never wear the no7 .Felt the Aussies made a misstake by not playing King.

Intersting to read that the Dragons are drifting for the flag next year as Gaz has been earmarked as specialist five eighth for the run on side.

Personally i think this a poor move as Gaz will be bashed from pillar to post and his added size in the centres allowed him to be a force.
Bet the Dragons are ruing handing Holdsworth to the Dogs for free now.

Add this switch for one of the best centres of recent times to the loss of youngster Clint Greenshields, Barrett, and Bailey along with young centre Millard also to Dogs then the Dragons are looking bit thin for mine.

We all know what a great breeding ground for talent the Illawarra is but just like the Eels and to a lesser extent over the years the Dogs and the Roosters, clubs just cannot continue to lose quality as the Dragons have done this off season.

Maybe Woolford may be an option in the 6 as Head when fit can take the 9, who knows, but i certainly wont be shedding any tears for the red and whites in 07.

With Greenshields, Gorrel, Head and Hornby the Dragons had great depth and versatility but with Greenshields, Millard and Gorrel gone from StGeorge their depth in the backs has seemingly evaporated. Wes Naiqama no certainty to play either.

Anoother note.

Looks like Lote Tuqiri and Matty Rogers may be back where they belong in the NRL with Rogers a very big shot of koining the Titans in 07, and big Lote also jaded with Ra RA and himting of switching back.

Broncos are already sniffing from what ive read to get the big fella back to Brizneyland.

As a Doggies fan the likelihood of both Williams and Omeley leaving at end of 07 is shattering news.

I mean how many 1st graders players have the Doggies lost in the past 3 5 years.

Asotasi, Myles, Feeney, Vagana, Talau, Anasta, Price, Grimaldi, Harris.

Question from me is have the Doggies spread too much pf their salary cap amongst 3 players in Mason, Williams and Tonga cos it is certainly starting to look that way to me.

I will spew if Williams cost the club Price , Asotasi, Myles and eventually O Meley only to P off to England for even bigger bucks!!

The guy is a superstar but having only Mason and Williams is not a threat, i woulda preferred to have kept Asotasi , Price and Myles, as 3 very good players are much more useful than one gun.

OK Leauge nuts, good news with the summer edition of Rugby League Week out now.

Very good read and very helpful for those wanting to be up to speed on all player movements, with each clubs best 17 run on sides named, well some may disagree with some things but very good.

Thanks Craig, didn't realise it was out yet. Will head down & buy one.Getting pumped for 2007 season already.

Enjoy MB good to see the Titans on paper, not too bad a line up, but what i found funny was poor ol Mr Steve Turner is the nowhere man.

Would definately been in Titans best 17 and possible bench for Storm yet hasnt got a mention cos no one knows what the hell is going on with the boy.

Doggies side pretty ordinary sans Asotasi, Grimaldi and Myles for mine and as a Doggies fan i dont believe the Dogs will threaten much in 07, 06 was there best chance and they blew it.

Looking at Panthers and Raiders i suggest they will occupy lower stretches of the ladder and the Bunnies line up looks much more threatening with Widders, Kidwell, Big Roy, the Peach and youngsters Sutton, Champion, Gordon, Cupples, Merrit and the experience of Cusack, Galuvao Hegarty and Vagana, i can see the ol Bunnies making a move up the ladder.

Storm look solid and certain top 4 especially if they can retain Turner, and the Broncs look solid as always.

In NRL news this week Willie Mason had a tryout with the New York Jets grid iron team. Not sure what to make of this as he is under contract to the doggies.Matt Rogers wants a release from his Rugby Union contract to play for the Gold Coast Titans in 2007 & Steve Turner is still in limbo choosing to reamin in Melbourne & hope that he stays at the Storm.

Mason and Williams will both leave the Bulldogs in time after forcing them to release the likes of Anasta, Thurston, Asotasi, Price and Myles to keep them.

Will be very dissapointing.

Would be disappointing if both leave.Mason I think will still stay but Williams is unknown.Williams owes the doggies as he has missed alot of games through injury.

Matty Rua back at Storm MB is a good result, and if they keep Turner Storm will be ripe for another very big shot at the title me thinx.

Matty Rogers to Titans next year will be great result and will allow for Turner to stay in Melbourne, as the arrival of Rogers will overshadow the loss of Turner.

Interesting Craig but Titans are still holding firm re Turner despite the likely release fo Rogers from Union.Keeping Turner on the books may create salary cap problems for the Titans.
