Then i would say his career is over already Mb if thats the go for young Trent.

That said and believe me there aint to many more important things in this world than healthy kidneys, without healthy kidneys one cannot live a free life as once on dialysis every 3rd day a renal patient cant go away from their treatment facility for more than 2 1/2 days at a time, nor drink more than in some cases 500 ml of fluid a day as their body cannot process it.

Heres hoping for Trent he can get a donor kidney before he gets too ill.

AGree Craig, has a tough battle ahead of him.

Don't have much to offer. Easts Tigers have regained a few players including half-back Dane Campbell who just about single handedly took us to the 2004 GF and almost won it in extra time. A few other interesting signings look good as well. I'm very pissed off with the partnership with South Sydney they have agreed to, especially since our list is better than theirs.

This thread should be retitled "Mb and Craig's banter"

I tried a little last year!!! Will be posting more often this year. Especially to counter Craig's pro-Cheaterbury propaganda!

How one person could get it so right with Richmond 8) , and so wrong with Canterbury-Bankstown >:( is beyond me!

It gives the kids a direct path into the NRL though? A non-Broncos path which can only be a good thing!

Easts already provided a good path to the NRL for young players though. Arguably it was a better path when the club was unaligned as the players would be on the open market rather than tied to one specific club.

I'm sure there is nothing that says a 16yo who plays for the Tigers has to be for Souths though mate.

Within 3 seasons Souths will have sorted themselves out - I believe the only thing they need is halves. Mark my words, they won't win the spoon this year.

I know that, but I'd prefer the club to remain unaligned. They were in a unique position being unaligned in the past and it worked well for them.

Storm to play Gold Coast Titans this week in a practice match.Should be a very interesting battle with Steve Turner likely to play.

ha ha Melty - re Dogs i was indoctrinated to them by my NSW neighbour 16 years ago.

I initially went for Balmain prior as they were the tigers, but have stuck with dogs even with inception of Storm.

I must say though the fact so many morons supporters have tarnished the profile of the great club is very dissapointing and a sad embarrassment

I admit i still have a soft spot for Tigers as well as Bunnies, Storm, Cowboys and Broncos.

I just love the NRL however i think it woulda been fantastic if the mighty Balmain Tigers , Wests Magpies and North Sydney Bears still existed in their own right, as well as the ol Steelers and the Jets ............................. call me sentimental.

The Storm and more interestingly Steve Turner to face the Titans this weekend.

Word out that Turner may cop some Special attention from his jilted team mates that he never was with.

Talk about BS and rampant media hype.

Yep,the storm boys will ensure Turner doesn't get any rough treatment.

Ok , so it may be 'typical pre season fare' but still encouraging for us (Balmain) Tigers young & old ....

Great story and great thing for the ol Balmain , geez it would be great if Balmain were still alive in their own right its ajoke they are not.

Doesnt Blockers kid look like his old man eh- if they turn out to be half as good as their dads then the Tigers are in big business.

Shame Junior Pearces son is playing for the filth down at Bondi instead of at Balmain also as that would be even better not to mention the kid is a real up and coming gun.

Jubey do you know any reason why Pearce is at the Wooosters instead of in the tigers guernsey at Premier league level.

Sirro (Paul Sironen) has openly vented his disappointment young Pearce didn't stick with the Tigers.

At the time of signing mid last year dad,Wayne Pearce, declared the opportunity to hook up with coach Stuart the determining factor.Seeing as Stuart & Easts are no longer an item I'd reckon it was $$ , as with most things involving the Roosters stealing other clubs juniors/players, that swung the deal.

Storm beat Titans in trial match 32-6.Score not unexpected with Storm fielding a stronger squad.Chris Walker scored the only try for Titans with the Storm having Quin,Johnson,Slater,Chambers (2) & Tagataese scoring their tries.Think the Storm plays Mnaly next week on Sunshine coast & follows up against Broncos in Melb on March 3.

Storm playing Manly on Sunshine Coast this Sat night in trial game.Looks like Craig Bellamy will mainly be playing rookies so likely to beaten no that this matters.Giving rookies valuable experience is a good move.

Was at Tulla today MB and saw the Storm boys and i must say it was a very youthful looking side indeed, not too many 1st graders in it from the majority i saw.

Also NRL preview magazine and new edition of Rigby League Week out today if any NRL fans interested got my copies. ;) Good reads both of em.

Also reckon the money being thrown at a no doubt extremely talented youngster in Sonny Bill is a *smile* disgrace, good as Sonny Bill is he is only one mere mortal, and it is the contracts both he and Mason have been on that have cost the dogs Steve Price, Asotasi, Myles and possibly in the future O Meley.

I would rather have depth in quality performers that are less injury prone in Myles Asotasi and O Meley at the Dogs and let Sonny Bill go to England to make his millions. Big call i know but 3 top 1st graders is better than one whose body will probably go on him in a few years the way he plays.
