Maybe you didn't write what you wanted to, but bigsy said he didn't think JON would come could or deserved to be selected. Someone else said he was full of crap, and his response was happy to be proved wrong, but he doubted it.

You then say you're hoping he isn't proved wrong. IE You're hoping JON fails? Is that what you're hoping for?

BUT, we got the Roos when they were soft and ready. Don't expect JOn to get the same sort of latitude next week against the Swans. I'd drop him for that game and bring him back for the Lions the following week, cos I saw some value in the kid in last night's game, but it is still as raw as it comes, and could easily be decimated next week.

Dropping him after what he did last night would do more harm than what he MIGHT come up against the Swans Phar Lap.

What better opportunity for JON than to show something against a good disciplined team - Sydney - that will not give him much space and time.

I have watched him at Coburg twice this year and to me that looks like his comfort level of football.

I don't consider myself a dark sider, but I just can't see where he is going to improve enough to be a 100 gamer for the club.

If he's floating around HF again he might get Mattner or Richards. No reason to shield him.
