Should our older players be offered for trade ala Peter Everitt so they have a chance for a premiership, or do we still need them for the kids to give leadership.

I dont know if i could handle Richo in another jumper, who would trade for him and what do you think we would get for him.

What about Bowden or Johnson or even Brown, would it hurt supporters to see them gone, would it hurt Richmonds culture.

IMO only Bowden has any "real" value for a premiership tilt, but its not like he is a rare commodity. If we were to trade this generation, it was 1-2 years ago.

I still cry that we only NEARLY off-loaded Hall to Sydney :'(

Thought same that we missed boat, we wont get first rounders but you could package them for upgrades in draft order for example: Bowden and our 3nd round to Sydney and there first. Just example no one get too excited

Its the same old story...we have no players with real currency...and when we have had them we havent traded them like the Ben Holland and Ray Hall (I guess) scenarios...same might be said about Kayne Pettifer

....know when to hold them...know when to fold them.

out of the over 21's my favourite is Cogs
Keep coughlan, Brown simmo
richardson would probably retire before moving elsewhere

the rest; find out what the clubs want to give us

as terry stated on confidential, we dont have the 21 - 23 yr old players at the club. they are either older or younger. i would keep the older players as we need some guidance. we dont want a team that is all young cubs. the only one i can say (make that 2) that would possibly be trade bait imo is shane tuck (unless he picks up his game) and ray hall (if he can perform after injury).

Anything would be better, but agree with the other posters....the likes of Tivendale, Krak, Hall....we won't trade them, because no one would take them.

Even the likes of P.Bowden, Johnson, Tuck, and Pettifer, we would struggle to off-load for anything worthwhile. :-\

The season is shot, what would the Coaches expectations be? Just have a crack, have a red hot go? or play out the rest of the year and look forward to next. Hard to say now what the expectations are, get through the year with minimal injuries and get them cherry ripe for next year? put them in cotton wool or make them go all out and get a possible trade? Just because we are having a crap year doesn't mean our players might not play well in a better team. Anyone is tradeable (unfortunate fact of footy.) it just depends on the situation.

:-\

Yep and the only way out is to keep cutting and kep drafting. We will have success that way.

it's just a case of when.
