good question, I saw that happen and was worried but he did come back onto the ground later.

Re: Angus Graham. The biggest postive of the year

Ive got to say, I saw angus in the gc praccy match when he was falling over, doing 'airy' handballs, kicking it 20m up in the air and I ordained him the worst young ruck prospect I had EVER seen. Good thing Im not on list management! His game on Sat was a ripper. especially good because it was in an insipid team performance. Another BIG positive from saturday was our best were ALL young - angus, lids, tambling, foley, Polo. That hasnt happened for a LONG time and is cause for SOME optimism. Good on you Angus. Another 3-4 years and we could be in brisbanes position a few years ago when they were knee-deep in good young rucks. Angus, Ranga, Vicks and Patto pinch hitting (havnt even seen Putty yet).

Sorry mate, it was meant to come across as a gentle nudge but I somewhat mounted the curve and ran over one of your feet, poor form on my behalf.

What I was trying to say was that you have a point about Gus's poor marking ability but he seems to be doing a decent job for the meantime in spite of his limitations. Of course in the unlikely event he does become the next Dean Cox then you can probably expect Yinnar's excellent research skills to be working against us all.

It's all good mate, these things happen, no drama.

As far as Yinnar is concerned.... :hihi.....as I've posted on here before, always good to see loyalty, passion and people backing the players they like/rate or their opinions. Great to see, every club needs more supporters like Yinnar. I haven't knocked many of our players but I don't see offering a balanced opinion based on logic (whether right or wrong) as to the chances of a player making it, is potting or being negative.

This would be a bland site if we couldn't have constructive criticism, sometimes we as posters and passionate supporters get it wrong, sometimes right, but we are here to discuss not just blindly chew on the grass tossed to us.

If Gus continues his form/improvement/development it would be a massive plus as his role is a crucial one we need support in...and if he becomes the next Dean Cox then I'll happily wear egg on my face. You don't get anywhere in life by being afraid of being wrong as long as you go about things respectfully. Half of the time I put my views out there for more switched on posters to enlighten me or to get a different angle/view on my thoughts that I might not have considered.

A few extremely conspicuous absences from this thread over the last fortnight, about as conspicuous as the RFC crapness.

I have to say, I've argued long and hard over the years on PRE that rucks need time, I made i list once of rucks who came good at other sides who had been dismissed as useless on here. but even I thought that AG was a lost cause after 2 rounds and seeing him first hand at the GC. I didn't listen to my own advice. Good on you Gus. (I'm still more excited about ranga, but the gap is rapidly closing)
