It's been a long road. Can't really expect much first time out.
Exactly,he's had knee, groin & hamstring issues yet some think he will return to his peak.

I hope that Cog's President has a great day on Saturday. :D

It will bring a cheer to a lot of Tiger hearts when Cogs runs thru the banner on Saturday night.

Go Cogs.

Congrats to the man. I'd never counted Cogs as a player in our team. His injury ride has been too great. But if he can come back even close to what he was, it will be a welcome bonus to the squad and will help us greatly.

Does it feel good being a negative Nancy?
Its called being realistic Nancy,he's had a tough road & the expectations are unfairly high.I hope he goes well Nancy

Our expectations are not high, its just that we wish him the very best for his return game and we all hope he has a great game.

Something to lift the Tiger spirits would be sensational.

Go Tiges.

Awesome effort by Cogs to be able to get back to footy, lets hope he survives. He sets a great example for the rest of the team, and hopefully they will lift their game for him and for the sake of the footy club.

Congratulations on your successful return Mark.  I'm so rapt for you...and for the team.  We can only improve by having such guts, determination and leading by example added to the team.  Welcome back. :hearton

How good was that, so rapt for Cogs and he will only get better with match fitness. Got goosebumps seeing him lead the boys into the song, that was one of the best moments I have seen! He is very inspirational and the soul of our club. Congratulations!!

Not sure he played that well ;)

However - he recognised that in the post match interview - will be better for it - and is/was an inspiration for the other players.

Well done :clap

Please can someone upload the song at the end. I know I was getting emotional.

Just great that he was able to get out on the park again. If he can remain on the field and not on the injured list his game will return before long. His toughness around stoppages is critical (also hoping that Thomson can share some of the load if/when he gets a game), and he will never die wondering as he always has a crack.

the best CLUB SONG RENDITION EVER...led by Cogs !

I'll try and post the video link ( for those that missed it ) to tonights Club Song rendition led by the inspirational Mark Coughlan...it was magnificent...the heart and soul of every Richmond player was very noticeable in the Clip...
I know one win doesn't change a season...but perhaps this victory tonight can.

On such a great day on the Australian calender...LEST WE FORGET our first 4 rounds and be inspired to greater things from here on.

How could you not love him? :hearton

That picture and the one Jinxy uploaded just brings a huge smile on my face. Just great to have him back and as Sir mentioned, he will be better off for the run last night.
