I was with you until your last sentence.
The other player we have is so much better in every other facet.  And the other player has kicked 9 more than once, and a 10 goal bag.  The fact he played every game in the firsts and not the 2's in 2006 might mean something also.

Too right Shers.  KK also can't take a contested mark & relies on leading only (or picking the gimmies off the back of a pack).  Will he get the room to lead into in our Fwd50?  I doubt it with Richo, Browny, Petts & Sarge all down there.

Like I've stated on another thread. What exactly are we expecting from Kent. No one in their right mind would compare him to Richo even if the goal tally was comparable. We need to judge him on a cost vs benefit basis. He isn't bloody well there to compete with Richo by the way. He is there to compliment the team hopefully despite his obvious shortcomings.

If Kent doesn't put in I'm sure Big Richo will tell him all about it.  At Geelong he hadn't some young talent around him in the forward line.  With us he has Richo and Browny and I reckon they're just about sick and tired of mediocrity.  And as has been stated, Kent is on his last chance.

I really don't know what to expect from Kingsley. 40 goals is too much if Brown and Richo and fit all year, as they will do the bulk of the scoring. Maybe 25-30?

The idea behind getting Kingsley is not so much to help out with the Seniors but rather to help out with the youngsters at Coburg.

Any PREnder who was a fan of Maurice is off to a good start, however I'm not so sure your theory is the same as TWs.

We picked up a soft pea hearted dud that cannot take a contested mark, is ordinary with no defensive skills, and cant kick straight ( is Frawley back at the club).

Wasted pick and another dud.  NO SURPRISE THO ... listening to Millers and TWs BS talk on the radio saying he is not guaranteed to be picked by us  made me laugh my arse off !!!!

We could see this decision coming from a mile away............ and i thought we had turned the corner with our draft this year and last, but no   ....... one step forward one step backwards.

Cant wait to watch opposition backs racing the ball willy nilly outta our forward line with Kingsley, Krakouer Pettifer and Richo chasing them down and piling on the defensive pressure.

As for the rookie draft we wasted that too by taking 2 smalls.

But with all that said i am not surpriesd at all..... not at all

I think the lack of defensive pressure up front is a very valid point.
You can add Browny to that list, it's not his strong suit either.

Definately an area we need to improve massively in and KK ain't going to help that.
