OH my god the Bowden Haters are out there.....

I am constantly amazed that any Richmond fan can be bothered by the blowave brigade.
Hawthorn are not even worthy of being a rival,why oh why do people on this site always bang on about them!!
There barely worth hating they're that insignificant!

By the way, if they want to talk cheap stats - Hodge gets plenty in the same way Bowden does.

They are nothing to me also.

Never felt any hatred for them, maybe because we always beat them.
 
Weren't they the only side Richmond beat twice this year? I remember that their game thread on HHQ kept maintaining that they 'tanked' the game, but made it look good so that they'd get the priority. It was great for Bowdo to get his first AA spot, but why on earth wasn't Robertson selected? I'm no fan, but he deserved a guernsey.
 
I seem to remember when I was a kid in the 70s that they had a good knack for beating us when we were having a better year than them ... even in our premiership years. 1974 was arguably our most dominant premiership of the 67-80 era and Hawthorn won both our home and away games and I remember being very relieved when North snuck past them by five points in the Prelim.

And we have new club house leader in the "Why bother about Hawthorn Open".
 
During the 70's my mother had a running bet with my uncle who was a Hawthorn supporter, it was $5 to whoever won. Even then they generally beat us. One game Bartlett was taken off for a good chunk of it, so my mother sent my uncle $4.50 with a note that she had taken out 50 cents for Bartlett, my uncle sent back a letter which said: "That's all he's worth!" The mentality of a Hawthorn supporter.
 
can some one tell joel that he should ignore what opp supporters yell at him and consentrate on his game instead of mouthing off at them :-X i am not trying to start a fight just giving some advise to him ok
