PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

Listening to Grant Thomas this morning who said that either St.Kilda or Pt.Adelaide are going to struggle to squeeze one of the top 8 teams out, brought me to the realisation that we are not going to make the 8. Given that, and the fact that it is useless ending up 9/10/11, I have developed a wish list for what I want to see for the rest of the year:

* Angus Graham to be given a run to see whether he is up to it - totally agree with other post about our ruckmen. When Simmonds gets beaten, he gets smashed and so do we.
* Kingy to get a run in the midlfield and as small forward in Aaron/Alwyn Davey mould - love this guy but can get chopped up on small forward because they are usually 6cm taller and strong overhead
* Kayne Pettifer to cheat out at Coburg for the rest of the year
* Jordy McMahon to cheat and butcher the ball at Coburg for a few weeks, then be given a run in the forward line - sorry but we have invested a first round choice and we have to try and get a return (please not in the backline though; did anyone see him standing off McVeigh when he got that second goal???)
* JON to play Jordy's position - I have been a big criticiser of this guy's ability but he showed something against Collingwood in the 2's a couple of weeks ago - once again, we have invested, let's seek a return
* Daniel Connors to come in and play impact role off the bench - I know he has fitness issues but you can only address this in the pre-season
* Andrew Collins to get some time in seniors
* Danny Meyer to be given every chance

Anything other people want to see??
