OK , you've had time to sleep on it.........

Ok I've slept on it.
And I still feel crappola.
It wasn't richo's free kick that had me scratchin me nuts though.
It was the non free kick to newy when he chased and tackled a bloke who had 30 metres of prior opportunity. WTF is going on here? It was a dead set free missed. And to prove I'm not biased. The free Richo did get was also wrong because he was pushed out by Riewoldt and not the bummer defence.

So here's a suggestion to the AFL.

Instead of using failed coaches to head up the umpiring, the rules committee and the tribunal - Geesh, KB and Schwab; why not make K Sheedy an offer he can't refuse and let him take over all these activities. Pay him a million same as the greek. At least then we would have a current day footy person in charge.

From the AFL website:

i "It was a heartbreaking result for the hapless Tigers, who led by 20 points early in the last term."

It is true. We are without hap.

its true we dont know how to win. the one time we should have slowed the game down and played "tempo" football with five min to go, we instead bang it long to a contest? hard to understand ???

I still fill pretty bad but i posted last nite to about 3am to let out my anger, yes we were robbed no doubt about that.

On SEN last night "finey" kept saying don’t worry tiges ur probably better off in the long run at draft time, ok he made some sense i agree but we were in the moment and i could not think of anything else but our first win which should've been. Come the end of the year at draft time of course this match wont mean much but i really wanted to stand up and sing that famous song and also wanted Richo to celebrate a win for his heroic efforts.

I thought we were missing something. :hihi

Although I was filthy last night, I've stopped blaming the umpires, we were in a position to win that game and we should not have let the umpires/rules committee have the opportunity to influence the contest.

We lost a game that was completely within our control, whether it was from poor skills due to inexperience or poor conditioning, I don't see how blaming factors out of the clubs control (like umpiring) is going to help the situation.

Not only did I sleep on it, I just pumped out 4kms around the Tan becuase I felt like I had to get something out of my system. My body now feels like Richo's head.

We should have went on with it no doubt but the ultra softo freekick on Richo was 50/50. Games come to one contest some weeks and that was the contest in Dreamtime 2007. If it wasn't payed there would have been a outrage, he paid it and there is a outrage. Just a shocking rule that has been bought in to stop something that wasn't even something that the average fan who goes to the football week in and week out was concerned about.

That's my view also. The umpires pretty much put the whistle away towards the end last night, which is football tradition, but made an exception in that case.

We have not had any hap since Francis Bourke retired.

As for gorm, don't get me started.
