Amidst the tidal wave of Fevola talk, this is a guy I really would like at Richmond.

Anyone have any word on how his contract negotiations are going with the Swans or if he was one of the players GM mentioned he had talked/was talking to?

Opinions on him as a player(potentially at the Tiges) are also welcome.

Yeah those 15-20 players sounds a tiny bit 'generalised' to me, but who knows maybe O'Keefe was one.

Would love to have him,but alas he won't be going anywhere I'd imagine.

I'd have him before Fevola on equal terms any old day of the week

The Swans said he's a required member of their leadership group and isn't available for trade.

Yeah, in terms of what Fevola might be able to contribute, and the valid arguments for/against, O'Keefe is someone who there isn't much "against" that you can table. I've liked him for 3 years or more now. Lots of courage, plays much taller than his height, can play back or forward and rarely makes mistakes. He reminds me a lot of Mark Harvey - but with a brain.

Very good player. Very.

Redford the bloke is 190cm. He is decievingly small and has good speed so is a hard match up!

And O'Keefe knocks up presenting, whereas Mr Fevola prefers hands on hips! Like Red said, VERY GOOD - VERY!

You don't need to do the hard sell on me - I'm sold. No idea whatsoever how we would get him without breaking the piggy bank bigtime - and why does someone leave a premiership side?

O'Keefe is a very suitable third tall type in a forward line that comprises Richo and a Fevola type.

He gets well out of the area. Decoy CHF who plays a wing and pushes forward into holes.

We've got a bloke coming through who can do everything O'Keefe can and more. When he matures. Attacking midfielder/forward is just the sort of role Deledio will play.
