You're a hard man mb64. Think positive thoughts :P

By the way, I think Pat Bowden had a good game also.

Even though we lost against the Frockers at least we put in.
We have the Kangas on Saturday which is a must win game we need to start winning games that we are expected to win.
Go Tiges

If you look at the bigger picture,we are never going to seriously challenge this year anyway,

that might be two years away,as long as we can learn from these losses,we are still heading in the right direction.

That's tough mb64.
Cogs played his heart out last night and was clearly our best player.

Raines has been slightly off the last two weeks although Farmer was largely ineffectual last night. He looks a fraction slower than the early rounds. Perhaps the workload is affecting him a little. He's being given huge jobs every week. Easy to forget he's only played 10+ games. Still a very bright light.

Tuck was solid as usual.

What I like is that there are more players standing up. If one midfielder is tagged then another steps up to the plate. We have seen this with Hyde in the previous weeks and this week we saw it with Coughlan, Tuck and P Bowden. This is what we have been missing in previous years. OPTIONS.

It is no longer about a small group of players carrying the team. I can only see this improving still with the quality young players we have coming through Coburg and those who are injured coming back will be a big boost.

I can now go to the footy and know that my boys are going to give a contest (bar the two thashings). They have multiple game plans and can set the "Tempo" of a game. I just hope the youngsters don't get fatiqued in the second half of the year.

Even though we lost yesterday I think there were heaps of positives to take away from the game.

Having multiple goal kicking options.
Coughlans back.
Tuck had a good game
P. Bowden had one of his best games for the Tigers
Kids gettin more game time
Had the umpires not been influenced by the crowd we may have won!

There were positives that could be taken from this match, unlike most of the other losses this season (the St Kilda game is the other obvious exception) and it shows that the team is on the right track and will continue to improve this year and the next couple. At the start of the season Terry said that's what he was looking for and it is happening.

Unfortunately, have to agree. Pity as he was fantastic all night. It was an absolute dolly that he dropped though.
