Couldn't believe what I heard tonight. When discussing Jeff Farmer and his lack of discipline, Gerald Healy's solution was to delist him, make him train with the club all summer, then, as long as he shows a change a change in attitude, redraft him in the, as Healy put it, "second draft at the end of summer", At this point Sheahan pointed out that the "second draft" was actually held not long after the national draft, and lists are finalised by the end of November.
How anyone calling themselves commentator of the game does not know this is just beyond me. Incredible ignorance.
 
Farmer is a serial offender and should be axed never to return.

Hall is rapidly becoming the same thing after his antics on the weekend. Grant Thomas made the interesting observation on SEN this morning that Hall's behaviour has only deteriorated since Everitt went up there, which correlates with my observation that no side Everitt is in has ever been successful.

I reckon grant thomas was worse than spud. Spud took a crap list to 3rd, Thomas took an outstanding list to 3rd.

Was Thomas suggesting that Barry Hall's out of control on field behaviour due to an off field association with Peter Everitt, Ian? I mean, it's not like they're ever on the park at the same time.

There is a correlation to when Everitt arrived at Sydney and Thomas obviously knows both pretty well.

I thought the common view most media people had was he started losing is 2 years ago when woman number 2 came on the scene, and managing the two since has been doing his head in.
