Just wondering if anyone knows of ex-tiger players who are coaching country sides somewhere, and with what success? Can history repeat itself, like Hafey at Shepparton.3 flags in a row,and then success at Richmond?
What a fairy tale that would be now...Tim Watcon coaches Dimboola thirds to 3 successive premierships then jumps on at an AFL club to take them to a premiership...it wont happen. A god bush coach will not make a good AFL coach today.

Interesting thoughts DHN,but as we know many a champion player has not made a good coach:also some Pre's here like the idea of a Voss,Buckley,Hardwick.................untried.Maybe a good bush coach should not be overlooked.
With Andy Collins doing so well at the Burgers and now in Adelaide (just a big country town really), that'll do me for a bush to city fairytale! ;D Matty Knights is living the dream - Bendigo Bombers to Essendon.............
