You blokes are kidding aren't you?
Since dropping Bowden, Tivendale and Pettifer after Round 2, the Tigers have played terrific football....until Sunday.
Since bringing back Bowden and Pettifer the Tigers have played reverted to the same old same old, terrible football.
Its a waste to see Bowden and Pettifer getting possesion after possesion but .........nothing happens. I'd rather see Blingers or Lids struggle to get the same possesions because they will learn and develop.
Why did we bring these revered players who are part of our past, and not our future, back when our young guys have started to show that they can stand up to the rigours of AFL footy?
Who cares how well Bowd, Tivva and Petts plays at Coburg? Their presence in the TIGER side takes us BACKWARDS.
Surely its better to lose without these stalwarts than to ........WHAT....get thrashed by Sydney....with them.
Our footy without these blokes has been fantastic and we have all got excited, rightly or wrongly.
Please don't get me wrong.... I love these blokes and the efforts they have put in at Tigerland. It's just that their time has passed.
Expose the young blokes and let them sink or swim.
Lids is starting to swim. It would be nice if he could apply some defensive pressure when he is not seeking a stat, but he is coming on well. Dare I say it but he is the best trade bait that we have. Lots of potential that may draw a player of the ilk of Jonathan Brown.
Blingers had a shocker, disposal wise, on Sunday, but geez, we all should be glad we have him rather than the flash in the pan DUDDY at the DAWKS. Blingers is showing us all that he is one of the best dancers at AFL level, and boy, will we happy when he kills a quality opposition in the next few weeks.
Our speculative PSD pick in Matty White has played 26 games, about 20 more than any of the fancied ND picks from that year, and boy is he exciting when he gets the ball. Breaks the lines, hits targets, especially lately. We will all be out of our seats and screaming our heads off when he breaks the 25 disposal barrier....because we have disposed of another dispised opponent. But he needs to get more of the ball if he is going to be around for a few more years.
Cotchin... the name says it all. Gets no where near the media that Lids got, but geez, how happy are we that Carlton stuffed up and picked a cruiser, instead of a steamtrain. What a debut.
Reiwold....geez, excitment machine in the making. Royce Hart encarnate.
Casserly...get him on the AFL park and test this kid out. Great skills and footy nouse, just get him out there. If his body lets him down then so be it, but GET HIM OUT THERE.
Patto.... just like Steve Waugh....looks awkward but geez, give him a chance and he will be as good as the old Swamp Fox.
Graham...we sure need ruckmen to learn off and support Simmo. Get him out on the AFL park.
Get Cartledge out there too.

Lets get the momentum back and leave them out of the team FOREVER.
But for the darksiders and evil clan.......you are a disgrace. Support the club, the players and the staff, and get up anyone who denigrates the faith.
