There seems to be a new vernacular creeping in to the game. Sayings like quarterback and catch instead of mark annoy me. I don't really understand what running the lines is, but it tends to be a fairly modern day saying. The one I really don't get though is "gut running". I've searched the forum and it seems the term only came into vogue since 2007 or so. I couldn't find any reference to it in the early days of PRE.
