Yep Ive had no interest in footy this week.

I don't know whether its cos the Olympics are on and the Tigers are rooted, but Ive been completely ambivalent to all things AFL the past week.
Much the same here Craig.
The Olympics are taking over the viewing on channel 7 anyway.
As for Clarkson, ho hum.
The AFL ho hum.
Think we play sometime this weekend, probably in the Sunday dead spot.

Tasmania
The women’s soccer was a cracking game last night, knock out game, verses the old enemy, goes to extra time, Great Brittan score late to make it really tense.…………. verses to teams whose seasons are over.

I didn’t even flick over from the soccer to get an AFL update.

I didn't see much of the game but the Saints had more disposals, more hitouts, more clearances, more contested and uncontested possessions, more inside 50's but still lost the game. Poor disposal efficiency and efficiency inside 50 which gets back to coaching and not doing enough training drills to get their kicking and handball skills performed at a high enough level.
Olympic swimmers train 40+ hours per week, 50 weeks of the year but at AFL level we have Phys Ed guys advising coaches not to make their players do too much kicking in case they get too fatigued and get injured. No wonder kicking skills and goal kicking in particular is still not a high standard across most clubs.

Didn't watch it either but sounds like their defence was poor. Conceding 112 points from 44 inside 50's is way too high.

Ratonmygear is doing his impersonation of Mr invisible today.
He had his one good game a year against us.

Geez you've got to love these high scoring 104 point games. Yet Chris Scott has the gall to blame Richmond for low scoring.
