i Work in a TAB and over the last few weeks have taken plenty of footy bets as it becoming VERY popular.
A few times when punters had a bet id ask them who they barracked for and i tell ya, you can neally always pick who the collingwood ones are. they really are different, especially the blokes between 20-50..

they look like criminals and yeh a lot of them do have dental problems and bad BO.

supporters:

Richmond: the loudest and most passionate supporters in the AFL when the team is improving and having a crack
Collingwood: Feral, bad teeth and poor sportsmanship and a lot of ugly ones
Carlton: a lot of supporters with a europe background and they hate RICHO
Essendon: very arrogant supporters and jump off when the team is losing
Nth Melbourne: very quiet supporters and thought Carey was the GOD
Melboune: toffs, very propper and quiet
St Kilda: always find they only cheer in the last quarter if there winning
Hawthorn: cocky, there cheersqaud is feral
Geelong: grandmas
Freo: not sure
West Coast: different
Syndey: they have no IDEA up there in NSW, the south melb supporters are ok
Adelaide: very passionate but always sook at the umpires, can be nomral one min feral the next
Port Adelaide: not sure
Bulldogs: hardly any supporters
Brisbane: thought they knew it all when they won 3 in a row, now dropping off

yeah when i ask someone at the TAb who they go for, i get it right neally 30-40% of the time.

Bulldogs: hardly any supporters

My father is a Doggies supporter, So is my boss. They are both quite old.

I would hate to think we would go through the same length of time to wait for another Premiership (my first).

Freo supporters are sub-human and not allowed in TABs. You'll find them tied up out the front with the dogs, and not inside, which is why you won't have formed an opinion on them yet.

:rofl - same could be said for the Dawks - their supporters are literally dogs (cats and birds too) so you will more than likely see them tied up around the place ;D

Start at the Richmond Tigers first for a laugh http://www.convictcreations.com/football/richmond.htm

;D good read CMT.

Gotta love this about the Tiges fans..

some fans take proactive action such demanding the removal of the coach's head. In 1981, the need to placate fans led to the sacking of coach Tony Jewell. This was quite a hasty move considering that he had coached the club to a premiership the year before. The club did the same with Francis Bourke in 1983 after he coached them to a grand final in the previous year

Geez and some accuse us of being tough on Terry!!! :hihi

Terry's got off light I reckon

And I think the quote below refers to our friend "claw" on another thread :hihi

When quizzed, they don't deny that they were once Richmond fans nor do they deny that Richmond meant to the world to them. They simply say things like they "have lost interest in football due to the AFL administration making it a farce."

Good read CMT

Great site... unfortunately I just spent the last hour on it and have done no work at all.... and look, it's almost time to go home...

Going by the arguments on other threads id say Melbourne and North dont have any supporters

whenever i watch us play in Perth I always wonder:

1. What is messages on hold?

2. Is that a W that the supporters are making with their fingers? What are they doing and why?

Help, any help?

hmm i think theres a show called the western front hosted by two out and out dickheads. get spotted by their cameras and get chosen making a w and you can win a prize. ::)

i believe messages on hold are just an advertising mob for someone maybe hbf or sgio.

Messages on Hold produce advertising messages that companies play through their phone system instead of hold music, hence messages on hold
