Next week is our best test for the year.
We have played some good football over the last two week and i can almost not remember the last time we have been so good.
We almost look like a football team, yes we have a long way to go but the signs are there.
No one will be calling for terry's job for a number of weeks in the papers.

Next week win or lose we have to have a red hot go.
If we play like we did against the roos and pies all that we have gain over the last two weeks will be lost.
We have to stand up week after week and yes i know it is only two weeks but i'm happy to be a tiger again.

Selection this week will be interesting for Terry and boys will he make changes or stick with the side.
It looks like we have a bit of depth at last.

Agree that this is our biggest test, but to add to that our biggest test is the next three games.

If we lose them all by 6+ goals that will murder our confidence and put us with 2 1/2 wins after 8 games. If we are at least competitive in the next three games and scrape a win out of one of the three, then we should all be happy.

Your spot on about selection. Pettifer and Bowden, and also Jackson aswell, have been out of the team for two weeks now and will Terry Wallace have the guts to make no change to the team?

The next three matches will tell us much about what perceived progress has been made. Would like to see highly competitive efforts in all three matches.

If we can maintain our intensity and effort, and be a little more direct and positive under pressure, then there's no reason why we can't take games up to Hawthorn, St Kilda or Geelong. They will be tough opposition, but they're men not machines.

Do not rate St kilda at all we should win that game for sure.

Think this is our best chance over next three games.

Only thing is, we have a horrific record against them.
We have lost our last 9 against them by an average of 49.7 points. I know thats in the past but we struggle to match up their forwards.
Hopefully we can change that around in round 7.

I think the Hawks will be too good but we'll see.
This team will sure keep them honest if they can play like they have the last fortnight.
A win is not beyond question.

Just three competitive efforts is all I ask. We are kidding ourselves if we think we are a better side than any of these three, but a 100% effort and sticking to the current gameplan may see us sneak a win.

I live in fear of a return to the dross served up against Collingwood.

Like the Dogs game....NO CHANGE...should be the words we hear on Thursday night.

The only thing that cost us (people can go on about Lake's "injury" and the hands-in-the-back on Browny in the last second all they like)...was inexperience due to the majority of our players not being in that position before.
We didn't lose the game...we just didn't know how to win and stay composed when it came to the crunch.

The best way to learn is to keep playing the same players so they do get that experience in the big time.

NO CHANGE is what I want to hear!

Agree Livers. I don't think anyone should be "punished" for the result of the weekend. Plus, I don't think that anyone at Coburg actually put their hand up screaming for selection this week.
