I know everyone will have a go at me but Grant Thomas would make a good football manager like what Balme does at the pies.

Yes, but could he keep his nose out of Terry's business. I thought Thomas was Saints through and through. Would he want to coach at another club.

Now that Thomas has moved on, there must be doubts about his assistants as the incumbent would probably like to bing their own people on board. I've believe that Matt Rendell is already considering his future at the Saints.
If he's not offered the senior gig, I'd like to see Mick McGuane back at the Tigers, however given Micky Mouse's antics this year he's probably got his eye honed in on the senior Pies job in '08.

think a few of their assistants will be looking elsewhere shortly.

usually a new coach likes to appoint his own men.

Didn't Matt Rendell coach our magoos (when we had them) a few years ago, I seem to recall Ross Lyon did too. Or maybe I'm confusing Rendell with Lyon. :-[

His track record is that he plays hardball with everyone but his players. He was sacked because of his relationships with his Board, not particularly bagging the guy but think football manager would be a mistake.

I heard the tail end of an interview with Wayne Campbell this morning on 3aw and Im sure he said that he would be meeting terry this week about some roll at Richmond next year . Whether that was as an assistant or some other role Im not sure, but watch that space.

Please no. Despite our troubles this year I have not seen many comments on PRE saying how much we missed Campbell.

Dont think were lookin TM think its already done for 1 of the spots, just waiting for the finals to finish

chris bond? leon cameron?
Rob Wiley.
Wiley would be a great get as he'd have a wealth of info but I doubt he'd leave Perth.
It would be OK as long as he sends all the WA talent our way and not to Freo. The Eagles have more than enough already.

Wayne Campbell was one of the best footy brains to have played for us in the past 20 years. He'd be very welcome in the coaches box, I'm sure.

Just thinking last night at the B an F with all the coaches on stage ,that they are all Tw picked an Tws mates, now Dont get me wrong I love what they are doing ,but I wouldnt mind seeing an outsider thats not just a backslapper come in an give a few different opinions, an just stir the pot a little to keep the boys on there toes.
