After watching last night's game I was not impressed at all with our midfield. It was beaten comprehensively by Essendon's and that is a bit of a concern. I only saw the game on TV so didn't catch who was in their for us but noticed that we gave the ball up far too easily and never seemed to have a player waiting on the offensive. Essendon seemed to realise this and often got the ball out to that position. Surely this is part of our structure that needs improving. No wonder we get smashed by the teams with strong midfields i.e StKilda and co. With all the talk about our need for KPPs without Cogs I reckon our midfiled is still too light on... what do others think?
