How does everyone think we'll go?

My prediction Richmond by 28.

My favourite game against the Doggies is the revenge game after Libba decked Knighter. It's a fond memory I actually have of Danny. He did well to get the points in a game that meant so much to everyone. A really exiting finish, right down to the last decision of the day.

Re: Our form against Footascray

We'll be competitive but the bulldogs will have the edge IMO. All depends if our senior group stands up again and support the young guns like they did last week. Newman, johnno, richo, tuck, browny all need to contribute.

If

* We display the same intensity against the Bullies we will win
* the young kids done become over awed by the Bullies we will win
* Terry keeps his wits about him we will win
* the kids keep running we will win
* Richo has anotehr day out on the wing we will win
* Kane puts in another blinder we will win

From what I remember, did that decision have to do with a push in the back against David Bourke in the last line of defence that wasn't awarded??

Yes, the push was on this guy from the bulldogs called N.Brown, the ball went through for a point. Our best win along side with the finals win over Carlton in 2001.

The bullies are my second team so I dont hate them at all.

We havent beaten them for a while, as a matter of fact we have copped an awful hiding against them twice out of the last three.

Those Dome results really surprise me. Would have thought the Bulldogs had the edge over us there. :headscratch

Also in the only game we played against them last season we lost by 5 goals:

Round 3: R 100 - WB 132

(West got 35 touches. Thank goodness he's missing)

It was either in the back or high, but what a great friday night, bit of justice them not getting that free after the walking headjob sniped knighter the last time and the grogsquad went off at that game!!!!!!!!!!

C'mon Tiges, keep the momentum rolling!!!!

The missing West and under-done Johnson give us a real chance. If our midfield can gel like they did last week, with Simmonds improving all the time, I think we are a great chance. Time for TW to start evening(?) the ledger against his natural rival Eade. Prove RFC made the right choice Terry.

...........oh and favourite memory is actually my all-time favourite. Just before the opening bounce, young Bulldog - might have been a very young Darcy - on his haunches tying his shoe laces and Turner comes up behind him and knees him off balance, real school-yard stuff. The kid gets back up and starts the process again. Turner does it again. I'm now pi55ing myself in the Ponsford, while this goes on for the third time! Cheap but I just loved it. Go Scotty!

Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh Scotty Turner. He provided me with many fond memories over the years.

The result flattered us that game. We were shocking, it actually left me in despair.

Like when Jason Dunstall tore him a new one that day he kicked 17 goals?? Yeah I bet he remembers that one too.

The 110 point thrashing at the Western Oval in 1980.

As a 13 year old kid wearing the dufflecoat, I remember walking up to buy a hot dog and having a mongrel 40+ year old Bulldog fan nearly smash me just because I smiled at him at 3/4 time.

IMHO I actually do believe we will win & comfortably.

Injury clouds over some of their star players & our youth will be full of confidence. Essendon should have finished them off but ran out of legs. We have the electrodes !

Tiges by 55 points

Richo 7 goals
;D
