Our game against Freo will be broadcast on 3AW

I've just received an e-mail from 3AW to let us know they'll be broadcasting our game on Saturday night.

FYI 3AW have decided to take 6PR’s call of Richmond & Fremantle this Saturday night. The regular boys will broadcast live the first ¼ of Collingwood & Brisbane, before throwing to the team in Perth. (Your game starts at 7:40 Melbourne time.)

With no free to air coverage, and both the ABC & Triple M covering the Pies game, we thought we’d do the right thing by the “Tiger Army!”

Great that a station actually chooses to cover our game. I heard discussion on the ABC a couple of weeks ago bemoaning having to cover our game as though it was the booby prize. (Think it was the Crows game and they expected us to be flogged : )

If its anything like last year we will have about 22 players called Richmond (if they bother to call our possessions at all).

Might have to sneak down to the Tudor Inn & watch the Fox Footy broadcast with a few cold ones.

Missing out on a 6 PR call aint a bad thing anyways, tis another big week for Clawsybaby in Perth this week.

Try the NIRS on 90.5 FM in WA, I think that it maybe national and has good match callers.

NIRS had M.McGuane as special comments last year and it was well worth listening to.

They are usually pretty biased but that's better than having nothing for those without access to paytv.

I listened to the Geelong game on K-Rock (didn't realise 3lo were broadcasting it derr!!) and it was terrible.  BTW Mitho That was Kayne's 3rd good mark in a row, not 2nd.  He won mark of the round the two previous weeks.

i liked it because we won, there was about 2-3 ex cats players which made it good. always going on about how geelong were going to win. Has sammy gone and picked up his team of the century painting yet liked he promised on the footy show if the cats lost.
