PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

Last week it was widely claimed having a very inexperienced side which apparently caused our massive defeat. This week we had a very similar side, experience wise, with Knobel (72 games) replacing Staff (195), Meyer (6) replacing JON (2), Kellaway (163) replacing McGuane (1) and Pattison (4) replacing Hughes (3).

So thats 245 games of experience replacing 201 games, an increase of 45 games. Hardly a massive increase of experience. The "ins" still had 2 youngsters with under 7 games experience replacing 2 youngsters with 4 games of experience. The obvious gain in experience was AK replacing Luke but not even the most ardent fan of AK can claim he was the difference.

So what was different this week? Why did the inexperienced team of last week do so much worse that the inexperienced team of this week? I'm just curious as to the opinions of my learned PRE colleagues. You know who you are. Thanks.
