I've never fully understood it. So if we only use, for eg, picks 8,26 and 58 in the ND and 1 pick in the PSD ( 4 in total) does that mean we can pick 3 extra rookies? Or does that mean we go into the season wilth a reduced list?

Carlton a few years back used their last pick which was 107 or 117
Think it was the year they got penalised.

Every club must have a minimum of 3 picks in the ND.
Not mandatory to take part in the PSD.
Depends on how many you trade/delist as to how many selections you have (but must have min of 3)
Rookie list is totally seperate to main list, apart from how many you place in the veteran category, the more vets, the less rookies, think it was a mix of 6 last year. This year clubs can get an extra 2 rookies because of the GC team coming in.
note swans and brisbane have extra rookie allowance to other clubs.
