This has been the case for every season apart from 2001 and 1995 since 1987 (20 seasons) How many nobodies / debutantes do well against us - players out of form have an immediate resurgence - teams have a turnaround season win - that's what we are good for and wallace has not changed a thing!!

Maybe I do agree with you to a certain extent, but it seems like the only time we ever hear from you is after a loss when you come on and start a dozen different topics that have all been well covered by previous threads. A cursory 5 minute check of the board would help the mods from having to merge every topic you start.

same could be said for any other team who has been outside the 8 for the past 2-3 years. These are professional footballers, they only care about today, and couldnt give a damn about the Pickering brothers and the rest of our history.
Rosy, you are getting bit nasty - that was in English but I won't be so patronising in my response - this is not something that needs debating - any person who has had one eye open in the last 20 yrs will know of games that we have lost - almost hundreds now - because teams (no matter where they are on the ladder or what is their recent form) pencil us in for a win - and this ultimate self confidence is still evident when we get the jump on these teams early! We didn't lose this game just because we blew our chances - we also lost because the opposition didn't panic because they knew who they were playing - this is the 5 goals I was referring to in the thread topic - and rosy I don't take kindly to be called a simpleton or a moron or a fool by people who cannot respond directly to a thread topic - whether they disagree with my assertions or not!!!!

Main problem with our reputation this year is that teams know to never give up against us. We need to ice a few teams and go on with it and win a few by a large margin. We let teams back in so they don't go away if we are 3, 4, 5 goals up. They just keep coming because they always feel they have a chance. Where a team might give up against, say, Geelong, they don't give up against us. Tough for the young boys.
