I firmly believe our senior group this year have let us down badly. The likes of tivendale, stafford, dare I say it, Kane Johnson, Darren Gaspar, Andrew Krakouer, Ray Hall, Mark Chaffey (before he was injured). Johnson simply doesnt do enough to help us win matches. He is not a damaging player. Playing a stopping role is not what we need from our captain who is arguably supposed to be our best player.
Take a look at the senior group down at the bulldogs and you'll find 3 or 4 senior players who play at a consistently high level week in week out. I speak of Brad Johnson, Scott West, Rohan Smith, Luke Darcy (before he was injured).
Sure injuries have cut deep but to lose matches by 100pts consistently is not a good sign I'm afraid. :-[
