Leysy's good mates with a couple of fairly recent ex-RFC players & that's correct GT.

He's pretty out-there at times & says some things that his team-mates question which planet he's residing.

Like plenty round here common-sense isn't Cog's forte. ;D
Talking about yourself in the third person isn't wierd.......it's clown shoes.

I have heard the exact same thing about Shane Tuck. Just a different kettle of fish. Nothing to worry about every football club has half a sozen odd balls. In fact you need them.

If the best player at the club was mute or deaf or both, would you still appoint him captain on the basis that he is the best player? I didn't think so....

Me? I like the idea of a steady reliable workman as captain, not a show pony or glam boy, or a megastar like Judd but someone stoic, reliable, earthy, talented enough to maintain his spot in the team week in week out and do the occasional stellar performance, captain's-goal-saved-the-game sort of stuff. My fella Bowden is one such player and Newman another. That's what I liked about Mattie Knights, he was honest and an obvious leader and while his career wasn't back-to-back stellar moments, he did some grand team lifting things.

There yer go...Go Toigs!
