I just split an A4 down the middle. On one side i put all the senior players, on the other the juniors. Its so incredibly lopsided :o

I realise some of these players are yet to make a mark but most of these kids helped guide our twos to the GF this year so they cant be that bad.

Morton, Casserly, Connors, Edwards, Jackson, White, Moore, Polo, JON, Meyer, Collins, Graham, Mcguane, Thursfield, Pattison, Lids, Bling, Foley, McMahon, King and Hughes. add to that new recruits from the remaining drafts and it gets even more right heavy.

We've ridded the club of many serial PRE punchbags and were slowly entering the new era which i believe wont happen til Richo's gone.

The next few years are definately "change of the guard" years, cant wait!

tryin to be a realist I think our midfield is going to be very good including flankers an pockets its just weather the spine can have some class about it,thats were the ifs are ,will Cleve pull the finger out,how good will JR be,can Polly continue to improve, what will Pato do,can Thirsty step up an become elite, can Mcgaune end up been very good, one things for sure its not all doom an gloom

Agree CC.

KPPs and Rucks are the big question.

We might well get off the bottom of the ladder but are we building a list that can win a premiership.

The jury is still well out on that front.

Geeze CC,
Another sensible, well thought out post.
The way you're posting, we're going to have to change you from a Bright-sider to a Sensible-sider, for want of a better word.
And by the way, I agree.

The thing with the big blokes is you dont win Flags without atleast a couple been of the elite variety,Depth is great but if you dont have the top ones to start with your only makin up the numbers

yes we have promising kids but so do most other clubs, when i look at that list i see guns like deledio and foley and talents like tambling, connors, edwards and jr but the rest have massive question marks imo

we will win some games with good attacking footy and look exciting doing it but like cc said our spine is very thin and once you get a few injurys the structure goes out the window because we dont have depth to replace like for like

Thats why its crucial that we use picks 18 and 51 tomorrow on a KPP and a ruck. This will go some way to addressing that issue.
