There you go again bagging another Richmond player - I bet you haven't even sampled the wine.

Actually no i havent Jim Bob, is it any good, i dont mind a tipple now and again but its gotta be good stuff.

I hope Paddys Wine has more body, characters and substance than his football. ;)

P.Bo has been out with a hip injury. Was listed as atwo week injury for ages, maybe due back soon but will likely need a run in the magoos first.
Wallets wasn't specifically rating P.Bo as a gun player, just stating that losing mature experienced players such as Simmo, Cogs, Brown, P.Bo, Rayzer as well as retirements like Gas ( oops ) Staffy n Chaff left us with a very inexperienced list of kids trying to carry the can all season.
The extra mileage for the kids will stand us in good stead for next year but we're a bit dodgy when under the hammer this year.

I think it would be safe to say going by the game time he did have in both senior and vfl level (he kicked 5 for coburg in three quaters before staying off for the last) that patrick has be hampered by this injury or some type of injury throughout pre season as well. From the first week he missed about 8 weeks ago he hasnt played VFL and has been in the rehab group barely able to run.

Don't think anyone thinks that Craig. Haven't seen a mention of that anywhere. I will say though, if players such as Howat, Johnson, Jackson and the likes are getting games, Paddy should be a shoe-in. Is nearly better than all of them put together (i know that's not saying much). ;)

GO TIGES!!!

I find it hard to have a spot for PB in our best 18. He had a reasonably good year playing the loose man in defence but now Polak has taken over the role. Maybe he might be useful as a forward but i would be surprised if he survives the end of season cull. We would hope that Hughes, Reiwoldt, *smile*(?), would be the ones shoring up a forward spot. As for the smaller forwards Brown, Pettifer, Meyer(?), Krakour(?), Edwards, Tambling. Sorry Patty, looks like the wine sales might be your go!

Not 18, but his versatility puts him in the 22. I'd have him on the list in a heartbeat over KK (big call I know)

I must have missed something - didn't read any post that claimed Paddy was the answer to our probs.

If he could answer me the question of why after only 2 glasses of wine that I get sick, then he could be the answer to all my problems... Only 2 glasses, that is why I had to stop being in a wine club to begin with. Not sure I can justify being a member of the Tigers wine club because it is a Tiger wine club. :-[

Feisty, are you allergic to sulfites? New World wines contain them as an additive. I know a couple of people who have that issue

Maybe old world wine is your go..

Usual complain it two glasses of red, forgetting of course the half a dozen coldies and the bottle of white to charge the receptors beforehand.

Maybe so NYT, well, I could have the beer, but alas, after 2 and there is trouble... so I think maybe I am allergic to all alcohol?

Although I don't seem to have too much trouble with butterscotch schnapps (sp?) ;D

What the heck is going on here????

In the space of two days, we have:

1) Terry commenting on P Bowden
2) P Bowden and that wonderful head on yet another alchy recruitment brochure
3) Rosy starting a P Bowden thread

Yet we have had no comment from P Bowdens most faithful admirer, Skybleau. Has Paddy's girlfriend finally cracked it and done a stalker job on Sky? Has Rosy booted Sky for looking for Paddy Bowden love in all the wrong places? Or has Sky gone on a P Bowden Wine Club inspired bender? We are worried about you Sky, are you okay :spin ?

I dont think it is fair to havea go at Paddy. My old work mate grew up with him in the Alice and he said that Paddy was laid back there and still played good footy so he can still play good footy here even if it looks like he aint trying.

When he is fit he will be right back in hte team and he wont have time to sell wine or anything to no-one cause he will be winning a B&F for the Tiges!

Bowden at his best last year was easily in our side. I like to think a player can get back to his best - if fit.

He is and always will be a useful utility - a depth player in a good team. A certain starter in ours unfortunately, if on his game.

Awwww, I'm touched you're still thinking of me T74...

Have no fear, my man crush on the P Bo is undaunted. Unfortunately I'm in NZ trying not to die skiing at the moment, with only a minute left on the net, so my love comments will have to wait.

What a week to miss though, it would seem...

I'm impressed with the Tiges wine club - purchased an outstanding package a couple of weeks ago - 10 reds, a port and a tokay (all great quality) for $125 including delivery, and was on my doorstep a few days after ordering. Credit where credit's due and its due at the Tiges wine club. If Paddy is behind that, then keep him in the team I say. He can do tastings on the bench.
