Best bet is to park at Crown Tiger4. Enter from Kingway, park on level 2 or 3 or even 4 if busy there., take lift to level one and walk from Crown to the Dome. About 15 minutes through the Southern Cross station, up the escaltor or stairs and you are there. you will see lots of supporters doing just that. Parking at Crown is way less than the Dome where I think they charge $25 from memory. Crown is only $6, or if a member like me....nothing. Hope this helps.

There's the new quay precinct, which charge by the hour. Think it's $7 for 2 hours, might be $10 for 3, not sure.

Across the road in "Digital harbour" there's parking for $15.

I think the other side (southern) there's a multi level car park, which is more expensive again. Think that was $22 for the game - last season.

Just park in the streets behind (on the northern side) of Festival Hall (Dudley Street). Check the signs but plenty of free parking. 5 - 10 minute walk Via Adderley Street to gate 7.

Got there at 7.20 last week for 7.40 start and found a spot 4 streets (short blocks) behind FH, Was in the ground by 7.30.

Will be a smaller crowd this week. Get there at least 30 minutes before game start and should have plenty of spots to chose from.

Good luck!

For those interested, there is a festive exhibition that is advertised along the Docklands quay called "Ignite". It's been running for the last fortnight but finishes this weekend.

Starts at 5.30

Might be a good cultural prelude before the game.

Thanks for that ghost who walks, looks like it might be fun for the family before the massacre of the birds.

The closest and congestion-less is to park it at Wilsons in Southern Cross Train Station on Spencer street after 5.00pm for $14.

We always park at the multi-level car park at the World Trade Centre in Flinders St (old Casino). Easy access to/from Westgate and only a 10 min walk straight to the Dome. Cost is either $9 or $10 flat rate for weekends.

Car park has 16 levels but rarely more than 7 or 8 fill up and bonus is you can pay when you arrive rather than queue up when leaving due to flat rate arrangement.

We've been parking at Harbour Town, $5 flat rate, a block or two from the main strip/marina.

jeez...$22, $14
there is heaps of free parking in the side streets around the remand centre, caron tavern, etc
shift some kilo's fattys and walk 10 mins and if you really feel like throwing some money away throw it at a decent charity

hey all

thankyou for all ur suggestions.....appreciate it alot. i found parking just across the road from the dome so 2 min walk......

cheers peoples.
