Patience is a dirty word .
Why?
Well when it comes from tigerland we have heard it for so long, it just doesnt have any feel to it.
Sure we can keep blaming past administrations, coaches and the way the hard times were dealt with previously and we have to hang in there , tough, as our president said and miller, but how much more can we blame the past?
Terry has had two and a half years. The promise for this year was enjoy the ride , there will be some exciting times ahead.
Miller - his statement when he first came in to the club about the tigers achieving success. Now way off the mark.
Wallace for me spends too much time doing other things instead of concentrating on preparation of the players.
He has another two and half years to show us supporters a future. No extension of contract unless otherwise we play finals in his final year and only then. Five years is a long time.
There were not aware how bad the list was? Crap Miller was there years before Wallet came and he would have had input into who stays and who goes. Wallet was in the media prior to him coming to punt road. He would have been well aware which players had what it takes.
They will both be judged end of 2009.
I want to see finals, not another 9th finish.
I am ll for the kids playing. Get as many games into them as possible the next two years for an assault for the finals in 2009. Anything less not acceptable.
So i will be patient again.
I want to see what steel the players are made of against Adelaide and Port. I want to see which young kids have got the right stuff.
Seasons end i want to see recruited to the club, key position players, hard nuts and extrovert types. No more skinny receiver types.
