Patrick Bowden

b..l s..t. Still better than half our team. Tucky & Captain Johnno neone? Now there's a real making of a gun midfield. ;) Stew over that PRE'rs.

GO TIGES!!!

FFS the idea of dropping a player (referring to last week) to Coburg is to gain form, I guess 5 goals Pat found form, epsecialy when he played for 3 bloody quarter FFS. He should have had several games there to really know what it's all about being dropped AND out of form.

Now he could become a regular fixture at good old Coburg town.

MUST! be dropped again along with Pettifer! MUST! This time for at least 3 weeks and put on notice.

The line for testicles and a heart is just over there >.
You will be needing all three Patrick? Would you like sauce with that?

Last night we saw Patrick Bowden's true worth as an AFL footballer. FFS, he scratched out 50 games in 5 years at the Bulldogs in a team that never played in finals whilst he was there. Why would we think he could bring anything to us?? I was a strident critic of his recruitment at the time but got howled down for it. Well the proof is in the pudding; he is not and never will be up to AFL standard. If we keep recruiting and selecting players like this we will ne shithouse forever more.

There is no doubting that.

We can no longer carry soft players with no desire, no urgency, no heart. Pat Bowden must be laughing all the way to the bank.

It is one thing to have the desire to win, it is another thing to have the knackers to go out there and do something about it. Pea heart.

I for one said the trade for Patrick Bowden was a DISGRACE at the time.

Another unskilled, pea hearted, soft flanker - just what we needed...NOT.

Its not as though we needed the draft pick we gave up for him anyway, god forbid we might have another kid ready for our 'window of opportunity' whenever it opens.

Must of been a budgetary decision by Miller & co, as apparently that is why we perennially trade draft picks for hacks.

He's just too soft a target ATM.

Same player as he was last year- no better, no worse. A bit like Pettifer.

In his defence, he's never been a forward or mid. And we funnel the half-back cheap leather through Deledio these days- rightly.

Our side lacks hardness and physical strength and, of all things, determination. Into this mix we introduce players like P.Bowden and latterly Graham Polak. We have a real problem in the department of selecting experienced players. Whoever picks them has to go IMO.

Nice Mav.

My favourite moment for Powder tonight was when he was on the wing, kicked the ball into a slack smothering attempt a safe distance away from him, and failed to make any attempt at the ball as it spilled pretty much five metres away from him.

You can't hide him. Coburg is too good for him.

He cost us bugger all but he's occupying a valuable spot on our list, as is kent kingsley, gaspar, hartigan, jackson, krakouer etc etc.
