I don't want guys like P-Bo around for 'insurance or depth' anymore. If it comes down to covering players for injuries and suspensions I would rather go with kids that these underachievers. Enough is enough already.

Exactlty, what good is a player that cant be arsed doing the hard yards ?

Not only was P Bo not Robinson Crusoe, he was/is far from our worse recruit. I don't understand comments about lack of guts, or team play. Wasn't he the first bloke in against Carlton when Fevola had a crack at one of smaller blokes (Tambling maybe?) He didn't see a senior game after that I don't think (feel free to correct me), but he's been good at Coburg.

He can stay on coburgs list next year.

not the first time he has gone missing in a Grand Final either. Did the same thing with Werribee a couple of years ago when with the Dogs.

Its the old story players who look great in open space, but don't like the physical stuff tend to go missing under finals type pressure. If thats the case move em on and give some other kid a go who won't shirk the issue.

We need a few more Daniel Connors running around.

Don't be confused poppa, we won that game by plenty and Brisbane weren't even competitive in the first half - don't use that as your P Bowden guide. This year and his 5 or so at the doggies is your best evidence.

Gotta jump in here. :hihi

Did you ever consider Brisbane's non-competitiveness might have been because P Bo was chopping off every forward movement they took in the first half?

Sorry Skybeau, but no.

As someone said earlier on this thread, Matt White should be safe for next year. At least he had a red crack before he got injured. I think he has been playing with the ankle soreness for a while & deserves to be persevered with. To me he seems to be the type of player who takes a while to settle the into AFL pace of the game. Once he has adjusted he will do quite OK.

Sandpaper undies? Has he been wormed?

If he treats his more pressing condition with calamine lotion and Vitaklenz he could probably carry the ankle.

We'll have to get CC to follow up in the pre-season. ;D

:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl I suppose I'll only make it worse if I say he had a REAL crack. :hihi

Maybe it was just a bad case of Dyer'ere and some cheap and nasty bog paper.

Guilty.

Leysy, me or TT should be playing the banjo. ;D

Come on P Bo is a good player. He was injured practically all year. Did some great things linking up with Joel last year. I think we deserves another chance. He will repay the tiger faithful we should not be so critical on our own. This is our list and we cant do anything about it no matter how much we whinge and whine.

he has to go. we HAVE to delist 3 senior players.

we don't have to delist any because 4 have retired

im pretty sure retirements aside, you MUST delist 3 senior players.

Doesn't sound right to me. What's the difference a delisting or retirement. Can a delisting result in a retirement? Do you ask your players not to announce retirement and delist instead?

Same same. The only difference is Gaspar was on the vet list - which will be taken by JBo.

NO. the ruling is: You must leave room for three picks in the national draft after trading and delisting

if Joel goes to the vet list we have room for 4 players at the national
