Paul Armstrong on SEN shortly

Paul Armstrong said:

* Under the knife today
* Confirmed ACL
* Performance was bad - warned team about week off and not to relax
* Said players looked tired and flat
* Coughlan said knee was feeling good and thats why he went back on the field, then landed awkwardly and knew something was wrong
* Talked about talls & Chaffey, said Chaffey is back training, he and knobel should play in VFL this weekend, Richo should play against Collingwood
* Wednesday last training day then time off until Monday
* Not disappointed to be 6 and 6, would of liked to have been better, but will continue to try and play competitively.

That was about it

He could have summed most of it up in 3 words. "WE WERE CRAP".

Chaffey, now this dude is really going to make a difference in this side. The RFC should move forward and stop looking in the rear view mirror, the likes of Chaffey, Staff, & a number of others that are too old and lack the goods in the skills department should be given their redundacys, so the club can move forward.

I'm sick and tired of the same old names that have let us down in the past, time to move on.

Good Points, Stafford is finished, Chaffey is struggling with injury, and then there is Gaspar, do we keep him for insurance, Ray Hall is struggling, Thursfield is injured.

What do we do with Gaspar?

What do we do with Gaspar?

Gas would have provided a better option up forward than Stafford did.
Could have also used Gaspar down back and used Ray Hall as second ruckman option up forward.

I agree.TW must put Hall on Richo if we are any chance of beating the scum ;D

I think Stafford has been good value for us since he came down from Sydney but he was definitely a waste of space against the Hawks. Didn't appear to spend too much time relieving Simmonds in the ruck. We would have been better off playing Hughes/Gaspar etc.

Staff unfortunately has reached the stage where he no longer moves as quickly as he thinks.

Stafford's been a waste of space for the last 6-7 weeks.

Its beyond belief how bad he's been.
