Paul Armstrong

Ambivalent about Armstrong but geez your stance on Palin is a bit of a worry Ghost. She's a four times better looking, quarter as smart, ten times inbred version of Julia Gillard.

Gees my Palin analogy has gone a bit off topic LLH, but in Alaska there is a warning to those like yourself and many others who underestimate / dismiss SP - the Alaskan wilderness is littered with the bodies of those who underestimate her. A Red Julia v Shootin Sarah death match...the ultimate Communist v Capitalist bout since Rocky 4 :D

Even my rapid Republican voting friends prefer to ignore the fact Palin is on Mccain's ticket. Much prefer to concentrate on why McCain is the best choice for the USA and the World and brush off any reference to Palin as "she's only running for VP, she'll have no say in anything". I hope McCain's health is ok.

Wish Paul Armstrong all the best.

Kind & friendly fellow who always says hello.

You miserable bastards have no idea.

Paul Armstrong worked passionately as the Football Operations Manager for the Richmond Footy Club and helped the on-field boys start their climb up the ladder as much as everyone else at Tigerland has done.

ARMA has my best wishes in his new task and I'll gladly shake his hand the next time I see him.

Arma contributed little, always look busy though :rofl

Not a relative of Paul, have met him a few times and he is good man, and it will be a shame to lose him.

Palin like attitide?? You don't even know what that means, and if you had any awareness of left v right you apply that tag to the other team.

You sound like a twit from that last line, ghostie. Believe me, I can smell a Palin/Hanson attitude a mile off.

Why is this "good man" leaving ghostie?

funny thread this .
anyway who the hell is ARMA sounds like some sort of arab terrorist.

From reports it seems the AFL or others are turning the AFL Coaches Assoc into a fully fledged organisation much like the AFLPA. Would assume this will include coaches from leagues outside of just senior AFL coaches to assistants, VFL, SANFL, even down to VAFA etc. I think that Arma has been in simliar roles for around 12-15yrs at the Cats, Doggies and Tigers. Maybe he saw a good opportunity and he took it. Judging by your tone, I don't think there is anything sinister in his departure.

Palin / Hansen...are you kidding me? There is a reason one is running a state with an 80% approval and the other is on Dancing with the stars..anyway smell on.

Thanks Ghostie. Cats, Dogs, us...He is an opportunist then...you have confirmed what I already thought.

Palin running the state...where would she get the time to run Alaska, when she is apparently interacting with Medvedev on a daily basis?

You really need to work out how American politics work and how Americans generally think to understand why McCain chose Palin. You are probably naive enough to think the guy with the most votes wins... Your posts generally are pretty naive.

I never met Paul, and don't know the ins and outs of his role at Tigerland, a lot of off-field organising as far as I could tell, but we had a fair bit of e-mail contact with each other over the years in regard to PRE and the RFC. I appreciate that and wish Paul all the best in his future endevours.

Thanks FF for your critique of my intelligence so from now on I will follow your view of the world no questions asked, because being so naive I will need someone as smart and well versed as you on US politics to set me on the right path. How naive I was to actually think I could have my have my own opinion. But all that is required is a good old fashioned socialist to set me straight.

Now I don't feel so naive.
