Here's a quote from the Age website, regarding Paul Roos and the Sydney Swans. Roos may have a had a better list when he took them over, and three years may have been an extraordinarily short period of time to turn around a club and win a premiership, but I still can't work out why TW needs seven years... to only make us competitive. ??? :confused :duh :pullhair :brickwall

"Roos and the Swans have their ways, which have proven to be winning ones. He had a three-year plan when he took over, stuck to it and in year three, he held the trophy aloft. It was no miracle, he says, just hard work."

Terry never said it would take seven years to be competitive.
He said from 2011 onwards would be our premiership opportunity. It took Swans 6-7 from their mini rebuild in 1999-2000. He are having a complete rebuild.

Comparing the RFC to the SFC and their rebuilding is like comparing oranges and apples. (or in our case lemons :hihi). But seriously the differences in the two clubs and their circumstances make comparisons between the two coaches pretty useless.

Competitive = premiership opportunity in my book

competitive = no losses over 30 points in my book.

I might release a sequel or a 2nd edition though so watch this space.

They way I see it, the paparazzi would be all over these two, if they were models. Both would burn the catwalks in Milan, and both would be on the cover of Vogue. It's only a matter of time when one of them hits the market with a fashionable thong, comfortable, discreet, one that doesn't annoy, but one that adds support. Would their team model the thong? We just have to wait and see! We have the youngsters who'll look better in the thong.

If Richmond had salary cap concessions like Sydney does and the other assistance from the AFL, it would assist in speeding up the progress.

I can't really work out why Schulz is not getting 100 minutes game time.I'd rather it in his hands 8-10 times than in Richo's 13-14.

Apart from that I reckon Wallace had a good game tactically this week.Just didn't have the troops to deliver when it came to the crunch.

You were reading my mind at the footy yesterday evo.

The quarters always start with Richo at CHF and *smile* deep at FF, but as the quarter progresses, it's always Richo at FF one on one and *smile* is somewhere in the flanks or on the pine. ???

I hate to critisise the big Fella but yesterday in that 3rd qtr I just wish Sarge had have been having those shots,he did miss that one in the last ,which was a beutiful bit of backman work with the dropping of the knees into Sarge's calves by Barry.
Just in the last couple of weeks I have seen signs that Sarge may work well as a CHF an leave the big fella in the square a bit more

Don't forget Jay's had an injury interuppted pre-season.
I'd say Terry's been easing him up to a full game over the past couple of week's.

Quietly pleased with how Jay is travelling ATM. 8)
