Forward efficiency just means that when the ball goes into our forward line, more often than not we score. Yet despite this statistic, we rarely kick over 100 points in a game. This indicates that our forward line is converting well from limited opportunities. IMO logic and observation tells me that we turnover a lot of the ball through the middle, the wings and flanks outside 50 metres. As every Richmond supporter knows, we tend to handball to players under pressure (lack of talk and skill), we also kick to players under pressure (lack of talk and skill, forwards not working hard enough to make space and playing outside the game plan (if there is one)). Much needs to improve this year, our forward line, whilst not perfect, is the least of our worries. I believe we are heading in the right direction (slowly).
