Pettifer - sad end? or inevitable?

Had some talent for a short time but but was overidingly a one way, soft, selfish footballer.
Compare his defensive efforts without the football to Nahas and you can see what our lazy, small forwards have not been doing.

The only thing sad about his end is that it wasn't earlier.

Here Here Dear Toots.

Agreed wholeheartedly.

Couldnt hasve said it better myself.

It is time to go -however -

I can't dismiss how valuable he was 2-3 years ago. he was playing very good footy off the HFF very well, and as such was one of the most damaging players in the competition for that short 2 years in forward 50 entries.

Petts had the ball in his hand going into the 50 something usually happened -

We can't have everything - and yes he was funny to watch try and make a tackle - closed his eyes a lot.

If he does go - I thank him for his efforts in yellow and black.

don't troll.

Had some decent trade value for a season or so, pity we didn't take advantage of it (albeit Wallet would have vetoed it as he would have perceived it against his short-term selfish self-interest).

Wont be disappointed to see him leave. If he valued the club as he should it would give him more credibility if he pulled the pin.

I am amazed that he went so high in the drfat as he certainly has never shown that he was worthy of such an honour.

His arrogance and ego got the better of him.

Not sure about his arrogance and ego - he just did not have the game - never ever

I see that on the weekend Petts played in the COBURG reserves.......

is this a sad end to a potentially decent career (lol...i must say that as i havea few very keen petts fans.....)or just the inevitable that we have all seen coming...................?

Does anyone know how he went??? ???
lol potentially decent career. bloody hell 9 yrs hes had a career and done bugger all. the quicker this spud is gone the better. why cant he have a bit of integrity and do a barry hall. he must have known his number was up many yrs ago but continues to sponge of the charity known as the rfc.

wasn't he in the leadership group at the beginning of last season? that went really well.

This is year nine but he has played 113 games (with one year lost because of the knee) and kicked 132 goals over the journey and while it was at a battling club these are not the numbers of a total loser. How many of our nasty PRE colleagues would loooove to have those numbers at any senior footy club much less in the AFL. It is time and best of luck KP thanks for the contribution
