Mind boggling that on a website supposedly run and populated by football fans that so few people actually even know what a half forward flanker is meant to do.
For those of you that are unaware, if he kicks a few goals (around 40 is gold standard), gets a few goals assists (Kayne was at stages of the season leading the AFL in this), and pushes up the ground once in awhile to be a link man (Kayne leads most of the HFF in the league in his ability to do this) then he has more than done his job!
Kayne, although unfashionable and clearly unpopular for his lack of hardness, is in so many other ways one of the best half forward flankers in the AFL.
Get used to seeing him in a Tigers jumper and stop wasting your time on threads like this.

Sums up how I see Petts as well.
Let alone Petts being best 18 - hes TOP 10 - closing on TOP 5 for worth to this side.
Very important player in our team if we want to kick goals.

Pathettifer has improved in all areas this year IMO.
