Just got home from work and got a random call from somebody on behalf of the Richmond Football Club.
I asked if she wanted me to play this weekend and she offered the coaching position to me.
The phone then cut out as reception here is lousy.
Tried calling back the number but it went to an answering service of a consulting firm.

Anyone know anymore about this?

Also has anyone heard about a date set for the B&F this year. Want to take my new lady. Had a ball a few years ago.

Got the same call could not agree to the terms as they said I wouldnt be allowed to post on PRE so I turned the job down. 8)
So now its between Hardwick, Rawlings, Laidley...........

i also got the call but was rejected after i advised them i would need to bring my own coaching panel in

Assistant coaches were
redford and phantom
claw as recruitment manager
with craig as list manager
rosy as strength and conditioning

unfortunately the culture change was too hard to accept

Maybe it was dids and heathy looking for nightclub directions! :hihi

Lay off wacky tabacky, Matt!

I got the call too. I told them that I would consider it. I told them my list management direction would involve signing McMuffin up for 5 years, packaging Lids and Cotchin up as a trade to West Coast for Seaby, retire Cuz and Richo at the end of the year. Sign Simmo up for another year as the extra support from Seaby will allow him to take control in the ruck. This would also free up Patto to play permanent forward. I would look at redrafting Patrick Bowden because he's carving up the EFL and as the next few drafts are tainted, I reckon he's a diamond in the rough. I also intend to bring Ray Hall back from PNG to take up the recruiting manager's role.

I have apparently been elevated directly to the second round interviews where I'm up against Laidley and Rawlings.

I got one but told them all home games would have to be played at The Oval. They said they'd be too afraid of the backlash from a couple of supporters called "Ian4" and "Meltiger", so I was given the flick there and then.

Ian4 is busy trying to get his glow sticks back off Lovett-Murray :hihi

I got a call for coaching job at the Deccan Charges which I accepted immediately. When the contract arrived I had been upgraded to a $200 plan with no free text messages.

Had a call this week too, but since when has Craig Cameron had an Indian accent? Anyway - said yes and just took delivery of Tiger coat - I'm confused?

haha

I'll pay that :)

I got this call weeks ago. I told them I would deliver the same results for half the cost. Then they tried to flog me raffle tickets.

Ive now had to change my number as the club would not stop calling me.
They loved the idea of being coached via PRE. 8)

Can't believe i didn't get a call.I'll go and pull a cone & see if anything changes...

I had a call a few weeks ago but I knocked them back. I know they wanted me only because they found out that I have a scrap book from the glory days of the 60s and 70s which includes rare and valuable articles by Lou Richards when was the major football writer the Sun News Pictorial describing how the game has changed and what a winning game plan looks like now. How do I know this - because when I said no, the next question was "how much for the scrap book?"
