Pick 27 Anthony Miles

The Hawks game took a lot out of him. Hasn't looked the same since that game. Needed a rest so probably right in subbing him out today so he can freshen up for the run into the finals.

Any word on Anthony's fitness?

Unlike him to be subbed on Sunday, he is pivotal to our midfield and our whole sides ability to succeed.

I'm sure it was just to freshen him up a bit.

Yeah looked like he had concrete legs against Adelaide and a little better against the Suns.
Probably should have rested him.

He has no leg speed. He is unreal of getting the ball, but gets caught a 10 times a game.
He might be injured, but he has always been slow and a non chaser.

Yep, a bloke who gets it 25+ times a game and is great at clearances should be shown the door. The Hawks will wake up to Sam Mitchell soon and chop him too for the same reasons. :-X

For those of you who don't know, it's usually better to ignore zips' posts than to get into a logical argument with him. That never works.

Don't get me wrong. He is very good in the middle when it's closed in. But as soon as the ball gets out he is never involved.
Watch his follow up work.

Poor bugger's probably still staggering from the beatings he cops under the packs getting the ball out for us.

Reckon that if this is his peak then we've done ok getting him. Replaced tuck/Jacko seamlessly

Better than both imo. Even though Jacko won a BnF.

hopefully over time yes he is. but we miss Jackson's bigger body around the stoppages, same with tuck. they were bullocking midfielders whereas miles is not quite big enough to take the exact same role as those two, regardless of his will to do so. Thomas is not a replacement for either.

I think that McIntosh will fill that role eventually BT.

Yeah I hope so, but he is very outside at the moment. I think we could use another 190cm plus midfleider to take some pressure off.
