Pick 27 Anthony Miles

The back story behind his uncle is that after being de-listed by GWS, in part due to his pace, he worked on his running with his uncle for a few weeks and did enough to get drafted by us.

The rest is history.

Thanks Uncle Pat.

:hihi I hope that the Taxi drivers are actually lightning quick and beat a few of the AFL players.
Flamin cabbies would be lucky to find the ground, would need to make sure they have the GPS plugged in to ensure they can follow their lane properly without wandering about too much.

Are they still handicapping the sprint? Not real sure why they bother with it any more, handicaps, slow blokes, cab drivers. Where the hell are the genuinely quick bastards.

If they could ever get the genuinely fastest sprinter at each club competing, it would be seriously good to watch. Like remember when Rioli tried to run down Lewis Jetta in that GF, so we really learnt who would win that fantasy match-up.

The only punjabi runner of note was a marathon runner, still doing it in his hundredth year!
Perhaps they will carry the traditional sword and take a couple out.

I think Foley suffered from that handicapping thing. He would have won it if they hadn't done that.

This is how good Miles is. Was 9th in disposal efficiency % for the Tigers. The top 8 were all defenders (backwards kick anyone?). Yet he was 2nd in contested possessions and 1st in clearances. The guy is a gun and I think still under-rated by the general AFL community.

Bit of a smokey for the JDM, definate top 5

I didn't rate him too small, slow, doesn't chase. BUT after the final the kid is is star. Was putting in all the way to the end.
Great performance great pick up

I hope they keep underrating him. Will make it easier for him to continue returning those stats.

The bloke can kick. What a breath of fresh air after all these years, tl.

Great stat for an inside mid.

Just thought it was interesting comparing the outputs of the name player who we didn't snare at the end of '14 (Trealor) versus the no name player we did snare (Miles). Statistically Trealor shades Miles in most categories but in terms of output v $ Miles is well ahead. What would Trealor be on compared to Miles?
