I must be getting senile.

"Pass the pills will ya love".
What?
She died last year?
Why didn't anyone tell me?
You did?
Who are you"?

Your son.

It's not a problem poppa, ya just got the players age stats around the wrong way, as long as your not putting your undies on back to front there won't be any issues.

Miles and Chimp are going to enjoy the protection that Townsend will give them, we have missed Jacko and Tucky.

Miles coming back in is crucial. We were very poor around clearances tonight. That he can do.

He wasn't in the 2nds. Is he injured too and the club is covering it up??

Stress fracture in his left foot apparently.
If true we are screwed. Is probably the most important midfielder on our list at the moment due to his fantastic extraction skills. Centre bounce and stoppages are crucial and he is the one that usually gets the pill for us. Cannot afford to lose him and if we do could end up being a very long year.

This might be the year we get hit by injuries.
Had a decent run in the past.

Last year we always had 9 or 10 on the injured list, it was just that most of the time they were depth type players

We had Deledio and Rance (and perhaps a couple of others) injured at the start of 2014 and that didn't turn out so well.

Like most mid table sides we can't afford to have any of our better players missing for extended periods.

Even though it's Carlton the Tigers are playing, the absence of Miles will be a particular loss for the team's structure around the ground ... his grunt, determination and attitude are high-end and very difficult to replace ... and Carlton's midfield, which does have some talent and ability, will appreciate Miles being on the sidelines (if that indeed is the case).

Lucky we got Townsend and Moore to go in there and provide some grunt. Less polish but same grunt work.
But yeah important player.
