Given the state of our season the best result for everybody is that Shai rests for two weeks IMO.

Don’t think we’d be rushing him back at million miles an hour , relax

I get the argument for being cautious and conservative yes and agree err on side of caution unless he is fully 100%.
But mainly I am curious- can you play on the 12th day?
I gotsta know

Imagine prelim final.
Dusty goes down with concussion
GF 7 days away.
It will happen too a club maybe as early as this year.
AFL with the GF being its showpiece would want its stars available.
Only solution.Get rid of the pre finals bye and move it to the PF- GF which i don't mind.It gives both sides a recharge and those concussed on PF week available.

Wasn’t Taranto’s injury a hand or wrist?
How long she been out for? Just whack some elastoplast on it and send him out there. Bloody soft
Yep, had scans on both ankles and they confirm it was his wrist.

It was a fracture. Had surgery which indicates a screw was inserted. Pretty standard 6 weeks for that. He had a cast on at training 3 Thursday's ago. No cast last Thursday so he was pretty close last week and probably OK this week.

How many hands does he need? Still got one good one and one at 70%. Elastoplast and out you go. :p He’s already got a couple tek
screws and a plate what else does he need? Some araldyte?

Gaffer tape Willowy one. Works just as well as elastoplast n about qtr of the price n actually better if there's inclement weather about. Would definitely pay attention to Dyer'ere's advice re tek screws for internal applications though.

Yeah, you’re right the old silver duct tape is multipurpose. I’ve used in on a few occasions to wrap up a gash when Band-Aid’s aren’t available. That and insulation tape.
Titanium screws have come down in price

You need longer ones than those to keep bones together, they are a bit more expensive.
