Pick 29: Shai Bolton

Jack Riewoldt , Callum Moore ,Dan Rioli , Jason Castagna , Shai Bolton , Jack Higgins

Hell of alot of X Factor in that foward line

I’m hugely excited about seeing Shai and Dan playing together tonight. Our ant man and wasp bit better. These two could light it up

I'm the same Brightside.

See what he can do in the absence of Butler and with Dan along side him.

Give him a block of 3-4 games.

Glad Stengle kicked 5 or 6 today. Puts plenty of pressure on players in the 1's to perform.
Wow - that's a great game then and hopefully it might even spur on his mate Bolton tonight.

I don’t know what some of u are watching but Shai has been good.
Getting to the right spots and looking dangerous.
That’s more than I can say bout Castagna terrible when the goals are presented to him.

See I would say George is getting to the right spots. Getting chances just butchering them

The same game you are. The difference between looking dangerous and actually providing something for the team, are completely different.

I don't think he has been as bad as some are saying, a bit unselfish or unsure, he should have had a shot a goal during the 2nd quarter.

He actually is he’s making things happen.
Tap ons, getting in there.
First game in 15 weeks he’s doing ok.

I agree. You can't just come into afl and turn it on first game. Has been getting in the right spots and impacting the game. Give him a string of games to settle in.

He's still finding his feet in AFL vs VFL. Standard and pace goes up a notch and space gets shut down quickly. Needs to keep harassing and tackling. Use his speed and the confidence will grow.
