Picks 30 & 47 - Your Wish List

I hate to say this but Josh Green reminds me of a certain 300 game skipper running around.

Nah your right. He does have a bit of the Harveys in him.

Green will be a jet. If he's available at 30 we must seriously consider him. very foley / boomer like.
there will be a very good player available at 30 - someone will slide. The top 13-14 might not slide to us but there is a massive chance that anyone ranked after this to pick 30 will slide to us. One of darling, smedts, green, harper, pitt, cook, watson, lamb, hallahan, lycett, parker, prestia, mitchell, jacobs, guthrie, horlin-smith, fasolo, guthrie will most likely be a tiger at pick 30.

Hope you're right Harry...am really warming to Smedts and hope he is one that slides, particulary if we don't get Heppell at #6.

Would love a Caddy or Polec/Smedts combination with our first two picks...

I will be crossing all fingers and toes that Harper gets to us at 30.

IMO that would be a massive win for the club.

I would love for either Parker or Harper to slide to 30. Wish we used the compo pick this year. At least North have the right idea.

LMAO. You reckon North are smarter than all the clubs that decided not to use the picks this year? Seriously?

If Parker slipped to our 2nd pick, he'd certainly be worth considering.

My observation of Parker was that he used the ball very well but relied heavily on Hallahan getting it and dishing it out to him.

With both Martin & Caddy, I'm sure that Parker would get heaps of the ball to weave his magic.

My concern is that if a good tall was available, like Mitchell or Cook, then I'd prefer them with that 2nd pick.

Still reckon we should have used that comp pick.

A bird in the hand ...

Agreed, if Mitchell is there - just select him!

I would take Michie in front of Jacobs and Green, but not in front of Harper. I have Harper a top ten talent. If we could get him at 30 it would be the biggest robbery ever witnessed.

Michie is very underated in my opinion. I have him at number 20. My rankings change constantly but he has always been around that mark for mine. In front of Green and Jacobs. I worry about Jacobs athletically at the next level and his kicking under pressure. Just a slight worry, still a very good player. Green's height and positional impact have him lower than Michie. Michie is smarter than Green on the field and a better mark and kick.

It is so even though mate, little intangibles here and there. My rankings no doubt would be a tad different if I saw the interviews, witnessed first hand the draft camp and watched them live dozens of times. Thats why I have faith in the recruiting team.

Michie in fornt of Jacobs? Are you serious?

Jacobs is potentially top 10 tonight michie lucky to be in the top 50.

Just my opinion Alley. I rated Michie at 20 and Jacobs at 30.

For what it's worth it was very even. I just like what Michie brings to the table more.

I suspect Jacobs will go earlier than Michie. We.ll see how close to the mark I am in 3 years time in terms of talent produced.

Michie will have to be drafted for that to happen!

Yeah right. The other 4 clubs are clueless ::)

I suspect he will be. Other clubs rate him even if Hawthorn don't.
Got nothing to do with Hawthorn? Nice try.

Very few would have Michie in front of Jacobs-I suppose tonight will tell

We will see. I bet you will let me know if it doesn't occur.

I suspect most of your opinion comes from others opinions. The draft is an opinionated event. Lot's of clubs differ from each other. Don't take what you hear as gospel unless you hear it from every club, not just one. ;)

Navy's no massive wrap for Michie. But tonight doesnt tell who the better prospect is. The future does. Nothing else matters.

Oh no. I agree with Allybabe. Jacobs before Michie for me.

Still like Viv but I think Jacobs is going to be really good. Little bit of Daniel Rich about him.

Apparently Brisbane are very into Jacobs and have been for awhile.

Might pip us with one of their picks in the 20's. Same goes for Harper who will go around that area. Think we might end up with Mitchell at pick 30 unless they pick him which they could.

Their first 3 picks could be Polec, Harper and Green. Not a bad start to a rebuild.
