PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

Other than Greg being contracted, considering his extensive stint at Coburg, it would be hard to state a case for him being at the club next season . He has dominated there so his lack of promotion indicates he's well out of favour as a necessary player. (I'd be happy to be wrong in forming this opinion.)

I really hope, if Greg is nearing the end of his career, that he's given a chance to play another game for his farewell. Tiv is the last of a dying breed. A player we used to go and watch in the magoos curtain raisers at the G. One who earnt his spot in the team the hard way coming up through the ranks. One from the good old days before football became much more of a massive business rather than a game.

Despite people using him as the PRE whipping boy Greg has been a loyal servant of our club and I'd like to see him leave on good terms, unlike so many others in recent history.

I certainly hope to see Tivva run out on the G again before the season is over. He deserves to.
