Player Development manager? [Merged]

Development Manager

Was thinking that it would be a good idea to promote Craig McCrae to this position then go out & get one of the retiring superstars to work underneath him like Buckley Chris Scott Archer Ricciuto etc

what about the king/archer connection?

Inspector I've merged your 3 threads on the topic to make it easier for you to follow. :)

Would love to get Archer to the club. I reckon in terms of respect, I hold him well higher than Ricciuto, Voss, Hird and especially Buckley.

Yes Archer would be good, but i dont think the Roos will let him go far, What about Sheeds for the role if he doesnt coach the Dees. I dont want to lose McCrae tho so i would probably give him the gig, what about getting Knighter to take McCrae's job if McCrae gets promoted.

Think he's going into a player manager role.

With a young list why not Robert Hyde[Ex Calder Cannon coach]

Great coach, that's for sure.

Would have to be a fairly well paid job to get him away from being principal at a private school.

A part time role would be good.

Chris Scott would be good, tuff and no nonsense, respected and good skills and his twin brother (Brad) is an assistant coach.
